Microscopic findings: | Biopsy shows malignant columnar cells arranged in glands. The malignant cells have clear cytoplasm with vacuoles. Nuclei have irregular nuclear membranes, cytoplasm is granular, or vacuolated with large nucleoli. Many monstrous nuclei. The malignant cells have invaded the gastric wall. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
