PATHOLOGY DATA

  
Location: Lesser curvature.  
   
Gross findings:

Ulcerative, vegetated lesion located at the lesser curvature.

Tumor measures 2 cm x 6 cm in diameter.

Cut-section is hard, white, dirty, and hemorrhagic.
   
Microscopic findings: Biopsy shows malignant columnar cells arranged in glands invading the muscle. The malignant cells have clear cytoplasm with vacuoles. Nuclei are irregular with large nucleoli. The malignant cells have invaded the gastric wall. There are many lymphocytes.
