PATHOLOGY DATA

 
Location: Antrum polyricum.
   
Gross findings:

Tumor located at antrum polyricum. Cut section is hard, pink, and mucinous.
Ulceration measures 4 cm x 4 x 5 cm in diameter. Base is firm and dirty.

   
Microscopic findings: Biopsy shows signet-ring cell carcinoma invading into the muscle and visceral peritoneum. No tumor necrosis. Perigastric lymph nodes, 7 of 8 positive.
