PATHOLOGY DATA

  
Location: Ovary.  
   
Gross findings:

Tumor size 8 cm diameter, ill circumscribed.
Cut section is soft and yellow-gray.
   
Microscopic findings:

Tumor is characterized by proliferations of malignant spindle cells.  The tumor cells have basophilic, irregular nuclei and abundant cytoplasm. Nuclear chromatin is coarse with prominent nucleoli. Mitotic figures are abundant. Some tumor cells are multinuclear. Necroses are abundant.
