PATHOLOGY DATA

 
Location: Ovary.  
   
Gross findings: Tumor size 12 cm diameter.
   
Microscopic findings:

Cut section is solid and shows some cysts with thick wall, containing black-yellow fluid.
Tumor is characterized by proliferations of round or oval cells. The tumor cells have basophilic, irregular nuclei and scanty cytoplasm. Nuclear chromatin is coarse with prominent nucleoli. Mitoses are evident. The tumor cells form clusters or trabeculae invading the capsule. The stroma show many congestive blood vessels and inflammatory cell reactions including lymphocytes and histocytes.
