PATHOLOGY DATA

Location:

Right lower lobe.

Gross findings:

Tumor size 5 x 8 x 8 cm.

Cut section hemorrhagic and gray-white.

Microscopic findings:

Tumor has numerous papillae with fibrovascular cores lined by columnar cells with vesicular nuclei containing very prominent nucleoli and irregular nuclei, coarse chromatin. Tumor is hemorrhagic and necrotic. There is no blood vessel invasion and no lymphocytic response.
