PATHOLOGY DATA

  
Location: Right upper lobe.  
   
Gross findings:

Tumor size 3 x 2.5 cm.

Cut section hemorrhagic and red.
   
Microscopic findings: Biopsy shows malignant small cells. The cells are irregular and clear. The cytoplasm stains faintly basophilic. Nuclei have irregular nuclear membranes. The cells have enlarged nuclei with high N/C ratios.
